Cutting board Prep surface
- 1 lb Ground beef 80/20 preferred
- 1 small Onion Diced
- 2 cloves Garlic Minced
- 1 can Crushed tomatoes 14 oz
- 2 tbsp Tomato paste
- 1 cup Beef broth
- 1 tbsp Chili powder
- 1 tsp Cumin
- 1 tsp Smoked paprika
- 1 tsp Salt To taste
- 1/2 tsp Black pepper
- 1/2 tsp Cayenne pepper optional
Heat a large pot over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned.
Add diced onion and cook until softened, about 3–4 minutes.
Stir in garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
Add tomato paste and spices, stirring well to coat the meat.
Pour in crushed tomatoes and beef broth, then mix thoroughly.
Bring to a simmer, then reduce heat and cook for 25–30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Taste and adjust seasoning before serving.
- For deeper flavor, let the chili simmer longer on low heat.
- You can add diced bell peppers for extra texture.
For the best flavor, let your no bean chili rest for 10 minutes before serving—this allows the spices to fully develop and intensify.
