High-speed blender For blending arils into juice
Fine mesh strainer or nut milk bag To strain seeds and pulp from the juice
Glass pitcher or mason jar For storing the finished juice

Ingredients
4wholeOrganic pomegranatesRipe, deep red, and heavy for their size
¼cupFiltered waterOptional, to adjust juice consistency
1tspFresh lemon juiceOptional, enhances brightness and helps preserve color
1cupIce cubesFor serving, optional
Instructions
Cut each organic pomegranate in half using a sharp paring knife.
Submerge the pomegranate halves in a large bowl of water and gently deseed them with your fingers, letting the arils sink while the white pith floats to the top.
Drain the arils and discard the pith and water.
Add the pomegranate arils to a high-speed blender along with the filtered water.
Blend on high for 30 to 45 seconds, or until the mixture is smooth and the seeds are broken down.
Pour the blended mixture through a fine mesh strainer or nut milk bag set over a large bowl.
Press or squeeze firmly to extract as much juice as possible, then discard the remaining pulp and seeds.
Stir in the fresh lemon juice, if using, for extra brightness.
Pour the finished organic pom juice into a glass pitcher or mason jar.
Serve immediately over ice, or refrigerate in an airtight container for up to 4 days.

Notes
For a slightly sweeter juice, choose pomegranates that feel heavy for their size, as this usually indicates more juice content. If you prefer a smoother texture, strain the juice twice through a fine mesh strainer. This recipe can also be doubled or tripled for meal prep, and it freezes well in ice cube trays for smoothies or mocktails.
Roll each pomegranate firmly on the countertop before cutting it open. This simple trick loosens the arils inside, making them easier to remove and helping you extract more juice overall.
